Overview
Sivagiri Mutt is a prominent pilgrimage site and the headquarters of the Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham, founded by the revered social reformer Sree Narayana Guru. Spanning 200 acres, the Mutt is distinguished by its unique white terraces and elevated plateau. It houses the Samadhi (tomb) of Sree Narayana Guru, who passed away here in 1928, attracting thousands of devotees. The campus also features the Guru’s residence with his personal belongings and the Sharada Temple, dedicated to Goddess Saraswati and consecrated by the Guru himself in 1912. Established in 1904, Sivagiri Mutt has become a central hub for the Sree Narayana Movement.
