Konni, famous for its elephant training, attracts a huge number of visitors each year. People come here to see the largest land animal up close and without fear. One of the major attractions at Konni is the giant wooden cages, or elephant kraals, used to house the elephants. Locally known as Aanakoodu, these kraals can house up to 3 to 4 elephants at a time. The center also features a children’s park, making it a great destination for families.
