The Nallatanni Estate, home to KDHP’s renowned Kannan Devan Hill Plantation, spans 2461 hectares and dates back to the British Era. It houses India’s first tea museum, the Tata Tea Museum, a must-visit in Munnar. The museum showcases tea production machinery from the early to late 20th century, including a 1905 tea roller, a rotor vane, a pelton wheel from the 1920s Kanniamally Estate power plant, and artefacts from the early 1900s Kundala Valley Light Railway Museum. It is an all-season destination and you can visit it any time of the year.
