Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, also known as Puthenmalika Palace Museum, is a historic two-storied palace located near Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. Built by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma of the Kingdom of Travancore in the 1840s, the palace exemplifies the Kerala school of architecture. It features exquisite wooden carvings, including 122 smiling wooden horses, and is adorned with teakwood, rosewood, marble, and granite. The museum displays idols, sculptures, Kathakali figures, Belgian mirrors, and paintings, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region.
