Overview
Eravikulam National Park, Kerala’s first national park, is located in the Idukki district near Munnar at about 2,000 meters above sea level. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also known as Rajamalai Wildlife Sanctuary, the park is famous for the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and offers eco-tourism activities. The park hosts diverse flora and fauna, including the Nilgiri Tahr, leopards, tigers, Indian bison, and numerous bird species.

Trekking
The Kurinji Trail offers a gentle trekking experience, guiding you through the tracks of the Nilgiri Tahr and the Neelakurinji-covered grasslands. This three-hour trek is available in both morning and evening sessions.
