Sree Vallabha Temple, located in Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, is a 400-year-old temple on the banks of the River Manimala. It houses an 8 ft idol of Sree Vallabha within the sanctum sanctorum. The temple features a unique Garuda Sthambha, a 54 ft flag mast carved from a single granite block by the legendary architect Perunthachan. The annual 10-day festival in February-March is renowned for offering 12,000 bunches of padatti pazham (bananas) on the first day. Kathakali performances are held as ritual offerings every night, a distinctive feature of this temple.
